What is Buddybuy?
Buddybuy puts a live group shopping room on your product pages. Your customers invite friends, chat, vote on the variant, share one cart, and the whole group unlocks a discount you control.
Which stores does it work with?
Shopify and Wix install from their app stores. WooCommerce, WordPress, PrestaShop and OpenCart have a plugin. Every other store — BigCommerce, Squarespace, Magento, a custom build — works with a single script tag on your product pages.
Do I need to edit my theme code?
On Shopify and Wix, nothing at all: the room appears once the app is installed. On plugin platforms you install the plugin and paste four values. On every other store you paste one script tag once, and every setting after that is changed from your dashboard.
How do the group discounts work?
You reward the group by cart value or by the number of items, in tiers — for example 10% off two items and 15% off four — on one campaign or all of them. On Shopify, Wix and the plugin platforms the discount is applied at checkout automatically. On script-only stores each member is handed a single-use code you created in your own store, so a leaked code can never be reused.
Can I change how the button and the room look?
Yes. Pick one of five room designs and the button follows its colours. You can also set your own button text, icon, colour, shape and motion, and the room's layout, theme and font. A desktop and phone preview shows the change before you save.
Can I run more than one store from one account?
Yes. Add as many stores as you like — each keeps its own widget design, discount rules, orders and customers, and you switch between them in the dashboard.
How does Buddybuy help me get new customers?
Every shopping room is a shareable link. When customers invite friends to join, they bring organic, referral traffic to your store at no advertising cost.
Does it work in real time?
